"Kicks N The Halls" IPG and The Fitted Foot Love Helping Others

Kicks N the Halls

Kicks N the Halls Program was started two years ago by The Fitted Foot Shoe Store.  It is a program to help under privileged youth at the high school level to receive new athletic shoes as students head into the fall/winter season.  Protecting your feet in the fall/winter months with proper shoe gear is imperative in maintaining your health.  In the first year of raising money for this program, The Fitted Foot was able to hand out 19 pair of brand new shoes, divided between Seymour High School and Jennings County High School students.  The school nurses serve as the liaisons between The Fitted Foot and the students insuring that the students who are in need receive the new athletic shoes.

This year with the help of a Color Fun Run held April 1, 2016 at our new The Fitted Foot location in Columbus, IN and several sponsors we were able to distribute 40 pair of new Brooks and Saucony shoes to students at Columbus East, Columbus North, Jennings County and Seymour High Schools.

None of this would be possible without the help of our corporate sponsors for the Color Fun Run.  The corporate sponsors include: Jackson County Bank, Family Chiropractic, Jeff and Joy Hilycord Realtors, Driftwood Builders, Bode Electric, Jackson County Dental, BK Media, Speedy Shred, Forefront & Spoon Realtors, Aisin Drivetrain, Sanders Technology, Columbus Regional Hospital, Kemper Insurance, Northwestern Financial, Toyota, Nichalson Electric and Mark Dennis CPA.  Individual donatins were collected through our two shoe stores, as well.  The Fitted Foot would also like to thank their Saucony Representative, Casey Abston and Brooks Representative, Alex White for helping to support this cause.

It is the intention of The Fitted Foot to continue the Color Fun Run and the Kicks N the Halls program.  Donations are accepted at any time.  It has been a privilege to work with all of these schools and we at The Fitted Foot look forward too many more years and many more shoes to come and serving our community.
