Does your heel hurt when you get out of bed?

There is a common condition known as 'plantar fasciitis' that plagues many people. The symptoms most people will experience consist of a sharp pain to the bottom of the heel that starts after periods of rest.

Cause of plantar fasciitis can be from a number of things: new shoes, new job or routine, exercise, slips or falls. Many times, the cause is equivocal but the treatment is focused around stretching, anti-inflammatory, and support.

Studies show that plantar fasciitis responds very well to conservative treatment. It rarely needs surgical intervention however without treatment, can lead to months of unnecessary suffering
