Do your feet feel tired at the end of the day?

A good supportive shoe can help reduce this strain and choosing the proper shoe for the activity one is going to perform is very important.  For instance, it is a better idea to wear a sport sandal with a raised arch bed than a flat rubber flip-flops this summer.  Athletic shoes are a much better choice for summer fun activity, and new flex materials allow the upper part of the shoe breathe to keep the foot cool and feel light as a feather.  However, the right shoe is not the only thing needed for some with foot fatigue.  Using an appropriate insert in the shoe to reduce foot strain is equally important, if not more so in cases of those with flat feet or high arches.  Such a device reduces foot collapse in flat feet and improves shock absorption in those with higher arches.  Most store-bought inserts are of poor support or quality.  There are some, like our Footstep inserts, that are better made.  Prescription orthotic inserts may be needed by others with worse pain and foot strain, and as a custom made medical device they last for many years.  At Indiana Podiatry Group, we have experience using such inserts to help thousands of our patients reduce and eliminate foot strain and fatigue and restore the ability to walk and stand all day in complete comfort.  This is how your feet are supposed to function, as tiredness and fatigue are not natural.
