Sunscreen, sunscreen, sunscreen:

Have you heard of Melanoma?  In the United States the incidence of melanoma (skin cancer) has doubled in the last 10 years.  It is believed this is due to increased in ultraviolet light exposure.  It is believed that childhood sunburns that are intermittent and severe are associated with increased risk of melanoma.  Also the exposure to tanning beds is associated with an increased risk of melanoma.  Be safe this summer and apply sunscreen daily to areas exposed to the sun that has an SPF greater than 30.  Be sure to put sunscreen on your children!  Happy summer!
