Keeping your feet safe in the garden
The best way to keep your feet safe in the garden is to wear shoes. I’m not talking about flimsy flip flops, I’m talking about a good solid shoe that won’t let rocks or branches damage the skin. Bending and squatting over and over again also leads to overuse of the foot ligaments. It’s good to get your feet all stretched out after a hard day of work. Rest the overused part of the body and consider using cold packs or ice to reduce swelling and pain, but ice for no more than 15 minutes at a time.
