Sometimes we have to do a simple in-office procedure to straighten a flexibly contracted toe to prevent a wound. This poor toe started getting sore and red from rubbing in the shoe.  The last thing we need is an Open Sore! I simply cut that contracted tendon on the bottom so that the one on top could take over and straighten this toe. It’s like trigger finger of the foot. The last picture is a smaller toe. Where’s the incision? There isn't one. I do this percutaneous. One of these toes is not like the others 😂.
